Dr. Tsuyoshi Sawada, a native of Kagoshima on Japan, has graduated from Kyushu University, where he received a PhD degree in 1995 with work on the Preparation, Conformation and Complexation Properties of Macrocyclic Metacyclophanes from Kyushu University. He was promoted to Assistant Professor at same university from 1994 until 2001, and then, he has a position at Kumamoto University as Associate Professor from 2001 until now. His current research interests include the study of the syntheses and chemical properties of functional aromatic compounds applied for organic electronic devices .
