was born in Kita-kyushu City, Japan in March, 1954.

Educational Background:
1973 - 1979He received B.S. (1977) and M.S. (1979) degrees with Prof. Kimiho Yamada in Synthetic Chemistry of Kumamoto University.
1979 - 1982He received a Ph.D. (1982) with Prof. Toyoki Kunitake in Polymer Chemistry of Kyushu University.
