In the field of polymer as well as overall materials, it is one of the most crucial problem to establish the methodology to control the structure hierarchically. In our laboratory, we're expanding the study particularly about high-dimensional structure control of supermolecules and macromolecule by means of self-assembly based on soft solution processes. The following is our recent study, which includes the construction of self-assembled structure based on the thermodynamic equilibrium and the structure control of polymers by the reaction at inhomogeneous field such as solid-liquid or liquid-liquid interfaces.

  • Construction and Characterization of Suplamolecular Systems at Solid-liquid Interface
  • Applications of Bicontinuous Microemulsions (BME)
  • Hierarchical Structure Control of Inorganic/Organic Composite Particles
  • Synthesis and Nanostrcutrue Control of Inorganic Polymers
  • Development of Adsorbents for Biomolecules
